I actually loved high school - the drama, the pining, the heartache - the awkwardness of it all. I think I gravitate towards shows that incorporate this time period because they always take me back and put a smile on my face. Never in my Wildest Dreams would teenage me believe I'd be making music for tv shows like "Awkward" -- a show that so accurately captured the high school struggles we've all survived.
